A few weeks ago was just such an occasion. We have several photo cards for our camera - thankfully. One was in the camera and the other was on the dresser ready to be downloaded to the MAC once we were home from the hospital. Once we got back into our old routine, we started to search for pictures and video to download and get caught up.
Now, I admit, I (the human) took the photo card it out and placed it on the dresser (the tall dresser) when I switched over to the larger photo card rather than put it away in the camera bag. Upon putting things away and cleaning up we found ...
Fearing the worse that the card had been consumed ... and the even more worse where we might next find it, we decided to find another card and try to take more pictures and put it all past us, figuratively and literally. Luckily for us and those dumb mutts, the card turned up amidst the pile of toys and squeeky things.
Not too surprising, it won't go into the camera or the reader, so stand by for some photo redo's... And if anyone wants a dog, I'm sure we can work out a deal where if you take one, we'll throw in the others for good measure. If we really like you, we may slip a cat or two in your car!

Hi Teri and Shawn,
See that's why I don't have animals. They always eat your things. I have been telling you for years but would you listen? Nope.
Well actually they aren't so bad much of the time. But like children, they require constant supervision and when you're not able to actually be with them do like I used to do, Duct Tape them to the garage wall where they will remain until you can release them.
Good luck and I hope you are able to salvage some if not all of the pictures.
Dad
