Thanksgiving without Rest Stops this year

Chowing down!!

They both tried everything -- at least one bit -- real troopers!

This year we hung around town for Thanksgiving -- we'll have to spend another year sleeping on the floor of a rest stop!! Chris and Angie hosted the event. There was a huge amount of food and equally huge amount of people. Cole took a nap to start the day ... seems like a good way to 'limber up' for all that eating.

Yeah we started before Ryan and Tia had made it -- but at least we kept their seats at the table.

Setting up all of the goods

Everyone brought so much good food it was hard to know where to start but we managed somehow. Brooklyn and Jace sat with the big kids and dug right in. stuffing was a big hit for Brooklyn while Jace favored cranberry sauce, just straight not on anything in particular.

After eating the kids headed outside for a little basketball with Uncle Chris and some sledding with Taylor, both big hits.

With Cole up and dad heading out for a nap, and as the weather got a little cooler and the kids were all sufficiently dirty, we headed back inside and played games on Uncle Jim and Uncle Chris' phones. Jace and Brooklyn are doing really well at learning their colors and shapes and the games were certainly helping practice.
